The objective of the "Stay Clean" process is to ensure that after the Data Purification process has been performed, our "Stay Clean" process ensures that the selected databases remain clean and free of duplicates, as users add and update records in their day to day activities.

The Netrics Server can now be used for several key functions within existing and
new applications.

Finding and Matching Records
·Any requests to find records based on imperfect data where the user is unsure of the spelling or                    maybe just  makes an error are sent to the Netrics Server where exactly and closely matching                       records are returned
·When an application needs to match incoming records, say from another system or external                          application, then the first step will be to send the request to the Netric server to see which records, if          any, are close matches  and make decisions as to what course of action to take based on the                          results returned.
Creating and Updating Records
·When applications and users create new records or update existing database records the final step            before committing changes to the now "clean" database will be to check with the Netrics Server to                ensure that the record does not already exist.

If an exact or closely matching record exists then the application has several choices: it may present the top several matches to the user with a message that the record probably already exists and is the user sure they want to add another. Alternatively, the application may decide to add the record anyway, and record the fact onto a workflow queue for further processing of human review.
